2008 Tidelands
Amateur Radio Society’s The Tidelands Amateur Radio Society is proud to present the 2008 Texas City Hamfest. This annual event has always proved itself to be a fun filled, enjoyable outing for all attendees. The hamfest will have 100+ tables with Major Vendors and Flea Market entries. There will be hourly and Grand Prizes, VE testing, a Left Foot CW contest, hidden xmtr hunt, forums, food, fellowship and much much more. The Hamfest is held in the Doyle Convention Center, a beautiful large air conditioned building with plenty of near by free parking and covered loading and unloading areas. Hamfest
visitors must pay the registration fee, regardless if a table is rented or
not. Major
Commercial Vendors are excluded from registration fees with table rentals. Tables
are rented on a first paid for basis.
We cannot guarantee a table unless it is paid for in advance of the
Hamfest. Tables not claimed by 9:00 AM
may be reassigned. Tables are reserved when payment is received by mail or in person with a completed registration form. If any tables remain at the time of the Hamfest, they will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Power is available, but not guaranteed. Bring your own extension cords and duct tape.
